Our Story

Caleb Nicoll, OTR/L
Caleb was a caregiver for over five years while earning his degree in Exercise and Wellness at Arizona State University. He later went on to earn his Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at A.T. Still University. Through his education and experience, he gained the knowledge and skills to help improve independence and quality of life through individualized care. This passion for helping others live more fully is a major reason he created a company focused on providing higher-quality caregiving.
Caleb is a Mesa, Arizona native and lives here with his wife and three daughters. He has seen firsthand the challenges that can come with aging. With grandparents who have experienced dementia, injuries from falls, and the realities of living alone, he understands how difficult these situations—and the decisions that come with them—can be.
At Forward Caregiving, our goal is to support families like our own by helping them make confident, informed decisions for their loved ones. Caleb is committed to instilling what he has learned as an occupational therapist to every caregiver on his team—helping clients maintain as much independence as possible while remaining in the place they feel most comfortable.
During his time as a missionary in Mexico, Caleb often used the phrase “Keep Moving Forward.” That phrase has stayed with him as a reminder to face challenges with courage and look toward a brighter future. Forward Caregiving was created with that same purpose—to encourage our clients and their families to Keep Moving Forward toward a life worth living.

Forward Caregiving only hires the best care professionals. All our employees are background checked and have current CPR and First Aid certifications to insure all our clients are in good hands.
The training and management are led by the owner of our company, who instills the principles of occupational therapy he has learned into his employees.
